Hello! Nearly half a year ago I had a more significant delay in menstruation, then I got discomfort and pain low down on one side. I went to the doctor and found that I had a functional cyst on one ovary, about 4 cm large. I postponed the contraceptive intake suggested by the doctor for 2-3 months, eventually due to the lack of a change in the cyst I had to start the therapy, but from time to time I have pain again. Some gynecologists were of the opinion that it was better to take Dufaston-type drugs because they did not think contraceptives were suitable for this condition. I am afraid that after the end of the planned treatment I will have to have surgery if the formation in question does not disappear. I tested for hormones, everything is normal. My question is - have any of you had similar problems and how did you deal with them - with drugs, surgery or others. Thanks in advance for your attention!

Unfortunately, I can't help you with advice, because I also have a problem, but I'm still postponing going to the doctor because I know that it will start with "trying this", "trying that" ... Would you share exactly how late were you and were there any other symptoms? I'm about two months late. There is no option to be pregnant, and all the other possible reasons I read are not with me. And I don't have any other symptoms, just as you were a regular, just December didn't come and there's been nothing since. And how come all the hormones are right for you, and there is no cycle? Is this possible? I apologize for asking questions instead of advice ...
