The name of the politician Oleg Horokhordin only in March 2019 became known to the whole of Russia, or rather, after the appointment to the post of acting head of the Altai Republic. Oleg Horokhordin was born in early 1973 in a small village in the Kosikhinsky District of the Altai Territory. The boy studied well at school, his parents saw the diligence of his son in his studies, and therefore after graduating from school they sent him to study at the Altai Academy of Economics and Law, at the Faculty of Economics. At the same time, the young man entered the department of state and municipal administration at the same university, and therefore, with a difference of a year, he received 2 higher educations at the university at once.

Horokhordin decided not to stop there. Although by that time he was already working, he entered the Russian Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation, choosing full-time education. And in 2003 he became a graduate student of the Department of Personnel Policy and Civil Service. Probably, even then, Oleg hoped to get a good position in the government, and therefore paid attention to self-education.

In the same 2003, Horokhordin received a PhD in Sociology. To do this, he had to prepare for more than one month, and then defend a dissertation on the topic of small business before the commission of the university.

The career of a future politician did not begin with high positions and titles. His first job was cleaning the schoolyard in Barnaul. After gaining experience in this area, the man got a job as a driver at another enterprise, and after 3 years he took the position of head of section No. 2 of the "Trading House" at the same Barnaul "Altayenergostroy", but soon rose higher on the career ladder. From 2002 to 2003, he worked in the territorial administration of the RF Ministry of Property for the Moscow Region, and then became one of the co-owners of three large companies. Soon Khorokhordin joined the ranks of the chairmen of the Council of the non-profit partnership "GLONASS", it is a federal network operator engaged in navigation activities.
