Oleg Garbuz is a Belarusian theater and film actor who has starred in the television series Rapid Aid, Kiss of Socrates, Leaving Nature, and The Other Side of the Moon.

Oleg was born into a family of intellectuals. Mom was a mathematician by education, and was engaged in information technology and programming. My father, as a civil engineer, developed complex projects for technical buildings. From an early age, his parents instilled in their son a love of exact sciences, and he dreamed of becoming a physicist when he was still very young. But it so happened that my mother, like an inveterate theatergoer, always took him with her to various performances, most often to the opera and ballet theater. And the boy's interest in art probably remained in the subconscious.

But in his childhood years, Garbuz did not think about the scene for a second. After the 8th grade, he entered the Polytechnic College, after which he planned to study at the Physics Department of Minsk University, but did not pass the competition. The young man got a job at the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Belarus, where he led an independent project to automate research processes. The next year, Oleg entered the correspondence department of the Polytechnic Institute, but then theater abruptly entered his life.

Garbuz saw an advertisement for recruiting young people to an amateur theater studio and decided to sign up to fill free evenings with an interesting activity. But acting has captivated the guy so much that he leaves the polytechnic and enters the Academy of Arts. By the way, Oleg could study in Moscow - he traveled to the capital of Russia and was even admitted to several theater universities. But the city itself made a strange impression on Garbuz: he felt devastated all the time. Oleg returns to Minsk and graduates from the Academy there.

After receiving his diploma, the young actor joined the troupe of the Republican Theater of Belarusian Drama, which then had the name "Free Stage". But since 1997, Oleg Garbuz has been serving at the Kupala Theater. It is interesting that he was invited there first for an entreprise staging for the role of Hamlet, but then they did not want to part.

Also, the man works a lot on television. His voice sounds in several programs on various channels, but he appears on the screen only in the popular program "Polustanok", with the help of which he acquaints viewers with Belarusian sights, and the emphasis is on little-known and even completely forgotten architectural objects.

Oleg Garbuz acts in films quite a lot, although he has not yet reached the same success as in theatrical activity, where he has several very prestigious international awards on his account. For the first time, he made his screen debut in the biographical drama of the Belarusian production "Flowers of the Province", then starred in the medical series "Rapid Aid" and the historical drama "Eric XIV".

The detective "Semin", the family saga "Under the Sign of the Moon" and the melodrama "This woman to me" brought him more widespread fame. Thanks to the actor's charming smile, the audience fell in love with his character, the janitor Karim from the romantic story "Life will judge." All in all, Oleg Garbuz has more than fifty works in cinema, the last of which are the melodramas "Where the rains go" and "Easier than a steamed turnip."

Once Oleg Garbuz was married, but the relationship in the family did not work out and the couple divorced. The actor did not enter into official relations anymore. As Oleg himself noted in an interview, he is too freedom-loving and, perhaps, not intended for family life.

Garbuz is a real workaholic. If he's not in a theatrical rehearsal, then he's on a movie set. And if there is no work there, then the man is working on the next plot of the TV show. The best rest for him is a change of activity.
