Noziya Karomatullo

Noziyai Karomatullo is a Tajik national singer, daughter of singer Karomatullo Kurbonov. The future Tajik pop star was born on February 7, 1988 in Dushanbe, into a musical family. The girl's father, the famous singer Karamatullo Kurbonov, was a favorite of the public. His brothers and father also practiced singing and playing national musical instruments.

After the fall of the USSR, military clashes began in the republic, which escalated into the Civil War. During one of the militants' attacks on civilians, Karamatullo Kurbonov was killed in cold blood. Together with him, on October 17, 1992, 11 more civilians, members of a musical group, who were returning from a performance from a village in the Yavan region, died.

After the tragic event, the girl was raised by her mother and her father's relatives. Noziyai began showing musical talent early on. In many ways, the girl's creative biography was influenced by her environment: all relatives were somehow connected with music. The girl was sent to a prestigious music school named after Malika Sobirova, from which she graduated in 2005.

After completing her high school diploma, Noziyai entered the Indian Conservatory for Vocal and Choreography.

During her studies, the girl absorbed the culture of the Indian people. As a second year student, Noziyai took part in the Katak National Dance Competition in Delhi and won first prize.

In 2010, the talented artist graduated from the university and received a red diploma. Returning to his homeland, Noziyai decides to get a second higher education and enters the Faculty of International Relations at the Dushanbe Institute of Entrepreneurship and Service, which he graduates in 2015.

Noziyai is the only singer in Tajikistan who sings in the Hindi language and knows the technique of Indian dance. In 2010 in Dushanbe, the singer gave her first solo concert.
