At the beginning of the XXI century, many young authors appeared in the literary world, fascinated by the creation of works in the style of fantasy. But not everyone is able to make the story understandable to children's audiences and not overload it with universes, planets and worlds. Best of all, the winner of the competition established by Rosman, Natalya Shcherba, who released the popular series “To be a witch” and “Chasodei”, and then got carried away with the process and wrote a dozen such books.

Natalia Shcherba was born in 1981 in Belarus and spent most of her childhood in the cities of the former USSR. At the school, which was in Yaroslavl, the girl first showed her creative abilities and, dreaming of becoming an animator, drew pictures all day. As a teenager, Natasha became interested in reading and tried to write her own stories, which were presented to classmates and deserved some success.

Favorite authors of the future writer in childhood were Mine Reed, Fenimore Cooper, Nikolai Nosov and Kir Bulychev, and in high school, the classics of Russian literature and magical stories of Astrid Lindgren, Ernst Hoffman, Lewis Carroll and the Brothers Grimm came to her attention.

After school, the Shcherba family moved to Ukraine, here the girl entered the Kiev University of Light Industry, where from the 2nd year she studied design technologies and began to write her first novel. According to Natasha, the text of the work about fearless ninjas was lost in numerous manuscripts, and since it was an experiment, she was incredibly pleased with this fact.

Natalia's creative biography began in the mid-2000s, after a literary magazine published a fairy tale about Time. Readers loved the informed storytelling and magical theories gleaned from the hard sciences.

Inspired by the fame of British woman J.K. Rowling, who made millions from books about Harry Potter and Voldemort, Natasha decided to write for teenagers and presented a major work at the Star Bridge festival in Kharkov. By the decision of the jury, the novel "Being a Witch" received the "Silver Caduceus" from the organizers and took 2nd place out of hundreds of announced debut works.

After the publication, Shcherba actively got down to work and within 2 years created several children's books at once. Among them were the continuation of the adventures of the Carpathian witch and the beginning of the fantastic series "Lunastra", called "Two-Faced World".

In 2011, Hourly Key and Hourly Heart from the popular Chasodei cycle were published, and 3 years later several books were on sale. They told about the fate of a little sorceress who turned out to be in a fantasy world against her will, and were the Russian transcriptions of the plots of Terry Pratchett and J.K. Rowling.

The books were appreciated by readers, and sales exceeded Yevgeny Gagloyev's Mirror and 50 Shades of Gray, written in 2011 by the Englishwoman E. L. James.

Despite the fact that Natalia has become a public person, information about her personal life remains closed. Therefore, the journalists do not know the name of the writer’s husband and have never seen her daughter.
