My Relationship With The Shy

Here it is my turn to write here :) I am a 17-year-old girl. I ended a two-year relationship a few months ago, and this boy was generally my first love, and I still have something for him, even though I know we'll never be together again. I went out with others before him, but it was nothing serious. Anyway, after we broke up, a boy who was especially important to me (literally my oldest friend, we've known each other since we were babies) supported me and "helped" me online (he's from another city, but we have a village). After the end of the school year I went to the village. He was waiting for me at the station. He took my bag, sent me to the house and told me he loved me. Later we talked and decided to try to be more than just friends. Yes, but we haven't come out normally once. I speak, he is silent. When I snuggle into him, I literally feel his heart burst from beating. When we kiss, he trembles. And the worst thing is that he constantly apologizes to me for his behavior. I know he has no experience with girls, but while we were friends he didn't worry about me. Please tell me how to predispose him so he doesn't worry. I feel like a monster, and I'm pretty sunken. I also need advice on how to proceed in September, I will return to Sofia, he to his city and we will not be able to see each other. I generally have a few "candidates", but I want him. He just has a wonderful character, and I like nice and smart guys like him, and I wouldn't go well with a bloated muffin.
