God, we hope the kitten is fed and warm in the middle of summer .. :)) Well, author, she is still a baby, just separated from her mother and siblings. How will he feel ... he is not used to it, he is adapting to the new place. My cat is 4 years old, neutered, sleeps with me, but at 5-6 in the morning I don't know what's happening to her, but she lies on my chest and starts licking my cheeks and where she finds a bare place :) And of course she wakes me up. Animals need closeness, love and care, plus food and water, of course.

It is an animal, it is normal to make sounds. It is like a child can be hungry or cold.
