So I'm a boy at 16 and my best friend is a girl and she's been with her for as long as we can remember, but we've both been swept away from life in an extremely unlikeable way. Both I and she resorted to drugs, and now I know how many bad comments I will get basically this, but please do not hate under this post, it has been too much for me. So over the years, I try to get away from drugs, and luckily to some extent I succeed, but unfortunately the same cannot be said of my friend. She's become super dependent on it and doesn't want to realize it and she's becoming more and more dependent. If she doesn't take something to calm her down she's going crazy, she gets panic attacks, etc. She's been living in the same country for two years, and we're a long way from each other. In the aftermath, she talks about plans to kill herself, and I've talked to her a lot about this, even though she's avoiding her all the time. She even told me not to talk to her about making it worse. And just now I want advice, if any of you or someone close to you has been through this, please help! I don't want to lose my best friend.
