Biography
Murat Ismailovich Nasyrov is a Russian pop star, famous for his hits "The Boy Wants to Tambov", "I Am You", "Someone Will Forgive", "These Moonlit Nights".
The future singer was born on December 13, 1969 in a large Uyghur family in the southern capital of Kazakhstan. He was the fifth, youngest child of Ismail Sufi and Khatira Niyazovna Nasyrovs. The family emigrated from the western province of China to the USSR only in 1958, and some of Murat's older brothers and sisters were born in the PRC.
In Alma-Ata, the boy's mother worked at a local plastic factory, and his father was a city taxi driver. In his spare time, Ismail wrote poetry and sang national songs to the accompaniment of Uyghur instruments. The family maintained the traditions of the native people. For example, the children of their parents should call only "you" and obey them in everything.
While studying at school, Murat showed love for algebra, geometry and physics. He went in for sports and mastered playing the guitar. In the early 80s, everything western was in vogue, and the boys sang the hits of The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Modern Talking.
At school evenings, Murat entertained his classmates in this way. Musical skills came in handy for a young man in the army, where Nasyrov got after the end of the decade. It was the Ashgabat division, where from the very first days Murat was assigned to a musical soldier group.
After demobilization, Murat did not stay at home, but left to conquer Moscow, although, according to tradition, the youngest son is obliged to live with them until the end of his parents' days. The young man entered the vocal faculty of the Gnessin Academy of Music. During his studies, a talented student at first lived in a hostel for nonresidents, but after a number of successful performances in music competitions, he got his first money and work, which allowed Murat to rent an apartment and gain complete independence.

Carier start
The performance of a young energetic musician from Kazakhstan Murat Nasyrov was a bright impression for the audience of the Yalta-91 competition. The singer conquered the jury with his vocal and stage skills, which included Igor Krutoy, Vladimir Matetsky, Laima Vaikule, Jaak Yoala.
The song from the repertoire of Alla Pugacheva "The Magician-Dropout", which was performed by the singer, brought him the Grand Prix of the competition and opened up wide prospects. Composer Igor Krutoy offered Murat to sign a contract to create a disc, to which the headstrong Uyghur refused - he dreamed of singing only his own songs.
For some time, Murat was interrupted by earnings at the dubbing studio, recording soundtracks for Disney and Russian masterpieces "Duck Tales", "Black Cloak" and "New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh." But thanks to the patronage of his compatriots, musicians from the A-Studio group, Murat manages to get acquainted with the producer Arman Davletyarov, who helped the young performer in 1995 to record his first disc “It's just a dream” at the Soyuz studio. The album did not have sufficient success with the public, but the musical composition "Step" hit the tops of many radio stations.
For a real start, Nasyrov lacked a song that would become a hit. After a while, the producer invited the singer to cover the Brazilian track "Tic Tic Tac", which was a success in the performance of the group "Carrapicho". Arman was just looking for a suitable singer for the Russian-language version of this song, which was called "The Boy Wants to Tambov."
It sounded brilliantly performed by Murat, after which the author woke up famous throughout the country. The clip, filmed for an incendiary hit, was shown on the leading Russian TV channels. In 1997 Murat Nasyrov was awarded the prize of the Golden Gramophone competition.

Music
Two years after his debut, Murat released his second solo album, "Someone Will Forgive", which significantly surpassed the first in popularity. The leader of "A-studio" Batyrkhan Shukenov took part in the recording of the disc, with whom Murat sang "In gray drops of rain" in a duet. Thanks to the new songs, Nasyrov received help from Alla Borisovna, who appreciated the talent of the young performer.
In the late 90s, the musician toured the country a lot. Each concert is sold out thanks to talented songs and live performances. Murat, unlike other Russian pop stars, does not use phonograms. Often at group concerts, his vocal advantage becomes obvious, and this fact, paradoxical as it sounds, becomes a stumbling block with the producer.
In 1997, at the invitation of Aleksandr Iratov, the husband of Alena Apina, Murat began to collaborate with the former soloist of the Combination group. Together they create a duet hit "Moonlit Nights", a Russian version of the song "Ding-a-dong", which was included in the musicians' concert program "Electric Train to Tambov". During the concerts, Alena and Murat sang previous hits, new duets and the latest solo compositions. Clips for songs by Nasyrov and Apina were regularly broadcast on music TV channels in Russia.
Also included in this program was Nasyrov's just-written song "I am you", which brought another Golden Gramophone award to its creator. The concerts of Russian pop stars enjoyed unprecedented popularity, it was a real success. At the same time, Murat's next disc "My Story" appears. Love lyrics, dance rhythms, high-quality vocals made the new album one of the 30 best Russian pop albums according to Afisha magazine in 2014.
At the beginning of 2000, the singer mastered performing songs in English. In search of new musical forms, Murat writes a number of songs in the "Latinos" style for the albums "All this was not with me" and "Wake me up". The history of the creation of some of the songs on the last disc is biographical. The first composition is dedicated to the son of the singer Akim, and the song "Alina" - to Alina Kabaeva.
In 2004, Nasyrov for the first time released a collection of songs in his native language called "Left alone". To record the accompaniment, Murat used both national Uyghur instruments and modern ones. Nasyrov performed the instrumental parts for the album independently, and edited the sound in his studio. In the same year, the musician accepts Alla Pugacheva's offer to cooperate with the "Star Factory-5". In the final of the program, Murat performs the hit "Someone Will Forgive" together with the participant Yulianna Karaulova.
It is known that at the beginning of 2007 Nasyrov worked on the creation of a new hit, with which the author wanted to perform at the Eurovision Song Contest. His last famous work was the musical composition "Rock Climber and the Last of the Seventh Cradle", for which the State Film Orchestra was invited to record.

Personal life
While still studying at the Gnessin School, Murat met his future wife Natalya Boyko, who also studied at the vocal department. Later on the stage, she performed under the creative pseudonym Selena. The young singer long sought reciprocal feelings from the girl, and soon Natalia agreed.
The couple did not register their relationship in the registry office, but the young couple got married according to Uyghur customs. The family soon had two children - daughter Leah (born in 1996) and son Akim (born in 2000) .After Murat's death, Natalya and her children remained to live in a Moscow apartment, preserving the atmosphere there that was during the singer's lifetime.
Throughout their childhood, Leah and Akim were engaged in music. But my daughter decided to get higher education at the Academy. Plekhanov with a degree in international relations. And the son followed in the footsteps of his parents and is now studying at the Gnessin Academy in the saxophone class. Natalia is engaged in teaching at an educational institution at Ostankino. Death
On the night of January 20, 2007, strange events took place in Nasyrov's apartment, which led to the singer's fall from the balcony. Death came suddenly. Murat's injuries turned out to be incompatible with life. But no one knows the real cause of the musician's death.
There are several versions - from suicide, drug poisoning to a banal accident. Murat's widow and friends lean towards the latest version. The funeral of the "sunny boy" took place in Alma-Ata. The singer's body was laid to rest next to his father's grave in the Zarya Vostoka cemetery.
In 2015, his friend Batyrkhan Shukenov performed with Murat Nasyrov's song “I am you” in the show “One to One”, who after a while left after another.
