Mikhail Krug is a famous Russian performer who received the status of the king of Russian chanson. His hit "Vladimirsky Central" became a kind of sample of musical compositions in the genre of "prison romance". After leaving school, Krug entered a vocational technical school as a car mechanic. After school, Mikhail was drafted into the army, where he served in the part of the city of Lebedin in the Sumy region.

After demobilization, Vorobyov began to work as a dairy product distributor. After 10 years, he went for a promotion and became a boss. At the request of his wife's parents, the young man entered the Polytechnic University, where his musical biography began. But soon Mikhail left the university and his leadership position and returned to the duties of a driver.

The first musical works of the Circle began to write at a young age. In 1987, as a student at the institute, Mikhail learned about the author's song contest, where the famous bard Yevgeny Klyachkin was on the jury. He sang a song about Afghanistan and waited for the results, not really believing in his victory. Children from all over the Soviet Union came to the competition, but it was Mikhail who won the victory.

Inspired by the bard's approval, in 1989 Vorobyov chose the creative pseudonym Krug and recorded his first album, Tverskaya Streets, at one of the studios in his native city. It also included one of the first songs by the chansonnier "Morozovsky Town".

At the beginning of his career, Mikhail Krug met the instrumentalists of the Metalist Palace of Culture (the city of Tver) and together with them created the Fellow traveler group. 10 years later, in 2000, Mikhail Krug married Irina Glazko. The singer met a girl in Chelyabinsk on tour and immediately offered the chosen one a job in his team as a costume designer, to which she agreed. For a year, the singer looked closely at Irina and only after that offered to live together.

The life of the Circle ended abruptly: on the night of July 1, 2002, unknown persons attacked his house. The criminals beat the singer's mother-in-law, and he himself was shot with pistols. The wife managed to hide in the neighbors' house, and the children did not suffer from the fact that they slept in their rooms. After recovering from his injuries, Mikhail managed to walk to the nearest house, from where a neighbor took him to the hospital. Doctors provided the singer with the necessary assistance, but in the morning the musician died of his injuries.

The bard's death came as a big surprise to everyone. Relatives, colleagues, fans grieved. On the day of the funeral, a farewell to the author took place in the hall of the Tver Drama Theater. The funeral cortege that went to the Dmitrovo-Cherkasskoye cemetery, where the musician's grave is today, was several kilometers long.

In 2008, the Tver Wolves gang was arrested, where one of the criminals was identified by the chansonnier's widow as her husband's killer. At that time, the investigation was unable to find enough evidence against Alexander Ageev, but he received a life sentence for other crimes.

In 2014, new facts emerged in the investigation into the attack on Krug. Dmitry Veselov was recognized as the direct executor of the murder. Together with his partner, he entered the chansonnier's house according to the plan of the crime boss A. Kostenko, known in narrow circles as Lom.
