Mikhail Nozhkin is a Soviet theater and film actor, poet, and public figure. With his participation, the first "Blue Light" was broadcast live. Mikhail Ivanovich Nozhkin was born in Moscow on January 19, 1937. The early years of the biography of the future artist fell on hard times. Mikhail's father went to the front, in the Rzhev region, after a serious injury, he was captured, became a prisoner of Buchenwald and Dachau, but returned alive.

During the war, little Misha, along with his mother and brother, stayed in Moscow, the family lived in the courtyard of the Yauzskaya hospital, where for 10 years after the war there was a hospital for the military. Mikhail's mother got a job as an operating nurse, went out in three shifts. The elder brother of the future actor, at the age of 13, stood up to the machine. And Misha studied household duties from the age of five. He stoked the stove, cooked, went to the store, where he stood in long lines.

After completing schooling, Nozhkin entered the construction college of the Moscow City Council. As a result, he got three working professions at once: a milling cutter, a woodworker and a fitter. Mikhail Ivanovich gained experience of working as a foreman, a PTO engineer and a foreman at a construction site, but in his dreams lived a thirst to be on stage.

In the early sixties, these dreams came true: Nozhkin was able to combine work duties with regular studies in a theater studio at the Moscow Variety Theater. Even during his studies, Mikhail Ivanovich repeatedly appeared on the stage of this theater as a performer of diverse roles and invariably amazed the audience with his talent.

When the studies were over, Nozhkin was gladly accepted into the main troupe of the theater. Allowing himself to engage in creativity, he was not content with only the theatrical stage - Mikhail also began writing songs, pop drama. Many of the compositions written by him were performed by the famous singer Vladimir Vysotsky. Others became popular soundtracks for Soviet films of those years.

Since 1964, Mikhail Ivanovich worked at the Mosconcert, and since 1967 he stopped working in a particular troupe of a certain theater, preferring to work under contracts in this format. This was partly due to the fact that since 1968, Nozhkin began to conquer the cinema.

His debut on the big screen was the role of counterintelligence officer Pavel Sinitsyn in the dramatic detective story "The Resident's Mistake", directed by Benjamin Dorman. Filming in a film about intelligence, the actor experienced the action of a lie detector. It is interesting that the device itself did not appear on the screens. According to unspoken rules, films about secret agents are necessarily watched and analyzed by intelligence officers of other countries, so they did not risk the demonstration of scientific achievements on the screen in Soviet times.

A year later, Mikhail got the main role in a romantic melodrama called Every Evening at Eleven. His character, a biophysicist named Stas, once jokingly called an invented number and suddenly fell in love with the voice that answered him on the other end of the line. The main female role in the film was played by Margarita Volodina. Critics greeted the melodrama coolly, but grateful viewers sent sacks of letters to the performers of the main roles.

Nozhkin also played Lieutenant Yartsev in the film trilogy "Liberation", Vasily Tsvetkov in the film "Land on Demand", Vadim Roshchin in the movie "Walking Through the Torment" and a number of other characters. In the mid-eighties, he stopped acting, deciding to devote himself to social activities and literature.

The last work in the filmography of the artist was the role of Major Shatokhin in the action movie "Solo Voyage". Nozhkin's character manages to prevent the catastrophe provoked by the American special services. Courageous, athletic build, tall, the hero was remembered by the public. Even American critics noted the performance of the Soviet artist. After this film, the character of Mikhail got into the top ten movie heroes who saved the world. Mikhail Nozhkin was called “Russian Rambo”.

Many poems of Mikhail Ivanovich are widely known, mostly set to music and becoming songs. These are musical compositions "And again elections", "I am in the spring forest", "The last train", "We honestly want to tell you", "I love you, Russia", "Under the city of Rzhev", "And everything is calm at the cemetery" other. She got a job as a director-trainee at the Bolshoi Theater, and later got into the Ministry of Culture, where she was in charge of repertoire policy. Together with Nikolai Pavlovich Smirnov-Sokolsky, she founded the Variety Theater.

The family of Mikhail and Larisa was warm and loving, in any joint photo you can see how tenderly the spouses look at each other. They lived in perfect harmony for about 45 years. As Mikhail Ivanovich later said in an interview, some colleagues irritated such constancy in the actor's personal life, while others, on the contrary, respect. In 2004, Larisa Lavrentievna, who was 17 years older than her husband, died. Children of this couple did not appear, but the actor raised the adopted son of Dmitry Golubin, who also became an actor.

Music, acting and literature are not all that Mikhail Ivanovich is interested in. He also participates in society and does not hesitate to criticize literary and political figures. So, at one time he spoke sharply about the works of Yevgeny Yevtushenko and Andrei Voznesensky, and also more than once remembered Mikhail Gorbachev's reforms with an unkind word. Since the organization of the "Immortal Regiment of Russia" movement, Mikhail Nozhkin became a member of its Central Headquarters. The actor even dedicated a song to his beloved brainchild, for which a video was created.

In 2017, Mikhail Nozhkin celebrated his 80th birthday. The actor's jubilee evening was held in the Hall of Church Cathedrals of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior. The concert was attended by Gennady Zyuganov, Yuri Solomin, Alexander Mikhailov.
