Fortunately, the times have passed when rap was considered part of an unknown subculture and, at best, tried to be ignored. Now the Grammy and the American Music Awards are being awarded for success in this direction. The post-Soviet musical community also raised its own rap stars. Scryptonite, Mikki, Guf, Oksimiron, Slim - these performers have long acquired their own army of fans. The best representative of the Ukrainian rap school is called Misha Krupin (aka Moisha, aka Tuman).

The life of Misha Krupin is fully consistent with his pseudonym - everything is covered with fog, practically nothing is known. The future icon and the main non-conformist of Ukrainian rap was born in Kharkov in May 1981. He is Jewish by nationality, which he periodically announces on his Twitter page.

In early childhood, the boy found a good job - he sang songs in the store, and received sweets as a reward. Then Misha discovered perfect pitch, followed by a music school in the violin class and a music school. But at home, the 15-year-old was listening to rock. At the school I met like-minded people - Kostya "Kotyu" Zhuikov, Dilya (group "TNMK") and Black (group "Killed by rap", now "U.er.Askvad").

Classes in classical music did not prevent Krupin from plunging headlong into rap and at the age of 20 putting together a serious musical project "Uncle Vasya". However, the musician himself calls the group "Outlaw" and the "Indahouse" festival, on the stage of which Black performed, as the initial source that aroused interest in this music.

From Black, Misha received his first nickname Fog, because he did not understand anything about rap. Then Black and Zhuikov helped in recording music and organizing performances. Later Krupin created a collective called "cddtribe". He was replaced by "Uncle Vasya". Places in the charts followed. The track "Old" was named the hit of the year. At the same time Misha tried several times to open a recording studio. But this type of business did not "go" because Krupin paid little attention to it.

Trying to make money for his family, Misha rushed between Kiev and Kharkov. In 2006, Tuman came to Kiev again with the goal of selling the album "Uncle Vasya". I got to a concert of rapper Smokey Mo, where I asked to pay back my old debt. Krupin calls these 50 dollars "lucky", because they began to revive the popularity, orders were received from other performers.
