As the singer later admitted in an interview, the grandmother's stories about tsarist Russia and the executed grandfather determined the attitude of Zvezdinsky to that period.

However, despite the care and vigilant attention of the grandmother, the lack of parental education affected the behavior of Mikhail, who grew up as a naughty teenager. Zvezdinsky was repeatedly expelled from schools, the young man spent a lot of time on the street in questionable companies.

Zvezdinsky also developed an interest in music in his teens. First, the young man mastered the guitar, and then graduated from the music school, choosing the class of percussion instruments.

Already at the age of 15, Mikhail Zvezdinsky began to make money by performing in cafes and restaurants, as well as in local recreation centers and in open areas.
