Biography

Maxim Isaakovich Dunaevsky is a famous Soviet and Russian composer. Although he wrote music for a symphony orchestra, and for theater, and for stage, the most famous songs by Maxim Dunaevsky intended for films. For many years, compositions from such paintings as "D'Artagnan and the Three Musketeers", "Mary Poppins, Goodbye!", "Carnival", "Ah, Vaudeville, Vaudeville ..." and others have become popular. For services to art, the composer was awarded the title of People's Artist in 2006.

Maxim Dunaevsky was born in Moscow in early 1945. His father is the legend of Soviet classical music Isaak Dunaevsky. Mother Zoya Pashkova was also a public figure, although not as famous as her beloved person. She danced at the Moscow Operetta Theater and in the Alexandrov Song and Dance Ensemble of the Russian Army. The boy's parents were not married, since Isaak Osipovich was officially married to another woman, Zinaida Sudeikina.

On his father's side, Dunaevsky had an older brother, Eugene, who became an artist. At the age of 10, Maxim saw the famous parent for the last time: Isaac Dunaevsky died suddenly. Thanks to the help of famous composers who brought the matter to the party authorities, the boy was recognized as the legitimate son of Isaac Osipovich, even though his father’s official wife did everything to prevent this. As an adult, Maxim Dunaevsky began to use his father's surname instead of his mother's - Pashkov, under which he studied at school.

He became interested in music as a child, he loved to touch the keys, improvise. But systematic studies annoyed him, so his parents did not insist on training.

After the death of his father, Dunaevsky Jr. began to feel weary about the silence in the house and told his mother that he would follow in Isaac's footsteps and would also be a musician and composer. In 1965 he graduated from the music school at the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory, and later from the conservatory itself. Maxim Isaakovich was going to become a composer of academic music, but in his senior years he began to attend the student theater "Our House" and switched to soundtracks for performances and films.

It should be added that Maxim Dunaevsky was a brilliant conductor for a long time. For five years he directed the orchestra of the Yevgeny Vakhtangov Theater, then headed the musical section at the Moscow Music Hall and the Musical Drama Studio Theater. As artistic director and chief conductor of the State Pop Orchestra of the RSFSR, he collaborated with the best Soviet musicians, for example, with Andrei Davidyan and Irina Ponarovskaya.

Music

During his student years, the composer Maxim Dunaevsky wrote chamber, symphonic and vocal-academic works. He is the author of a concert for piano and orchestra, cycles of romances and the cantata "Old Ships" for a cappella choir. But then he became interested in music for theater, cinema and stage. He created musical pieces "Tili-tili-dough ...", "Twelve chairs", "In Search of Captain Grant". Many of them later became the basis for the soundtracks of the films of the same name.

In 1977, Maxim Dunaevsky organized the VIA "Festival", which performed the music of the composer and songs in the style of "rock". The musicians helped to record soundtracks for many films with Dunaevsky's music. The team existed until 1990.

In 1992, the musician immigrated to the United States, where he lived until 1999. In America, Maxim continued to write music, wrote articles for a newspaper, and appeared on television. At the end of the century, Dunaevsky returned to his homeland.

Nikolai Karachentsov, Zhanna Rozhdestvensky, Dmitry Kharatyan, Masha Rasputina, Mikhail Boyarsky, Tatyana Bulanova and other artists performed on the stage of Maxim Dunaevsky's songs. Maxim Isaakovich is skeptical about the vocal abilities of many modern pop performers. Nevertheless, he highly appreciated the talent of Dima Bilan and Alexander Panayotov. In recent years, Angelina Sergeeva, the finalist of the second season of the Voice TV competition, has also been included in the number of artists and performers of Maxim Dunaevsky's songs.

The greatest fame to Maxim Dunaevsky was brought by his soundtracks to Soviet and Russian films. Of course, first of all, the audience recalls the songs "The Fortune Teller" from the comedy "Ah, vaudeville, vaudeville ...", "Call me, call!" and "Thank you, life!" from the drama "Carnival", "The Wind of Change" and "Bad Weather" from the fairy tale "Mary Poppins, Goodbye!", "Chastushki Babok-Yozhek" from the cartoon "The Flying Ship".

The song "It's time, it's time, let's rejoice in our time" from the hit cycle of the painting "D'Artagnan and the Three Musketeers" was included in the number of mandatory rhythmic exercises when entering the Central Music School, which at that time seemed incredible. The Central School of Music was famous for its academicism; the use of examples from popular music in the classroom was considered unacceptable.

In addition, Dunaevsky has more than one and a half hundred great hits, the best of which were released on separate records, as well as in the official collections "Golden Collection". In the new century, the composer continued to write music for films. In 2000, Dunaevsky created the accompaniment to the adventure melodrama Border. Taiga Romance ", in the mid-2000s with the music of Maxim Isaakovich the films" Twelve Chairs "," Cliffs. A Life-Long Song "," Park of the Soviet Period ". Dunaevsky's latest projects include the adventure film 1812: Ulanskaya Ballad, where Sergei Bezrukov and Anna Chipovskaya played the main roles.

On Russian television with the participation of Maxim Dunaevsky, a program dedicated to the operetta, "With a light genre!" Later, the composer was invited to the judges of the People's Artist music competition. Maxim Dunaevsky is a member of the expert council of the national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest.

During his creative career, the composer has created 20 musicals. In 2010, Maxim Dunaevsky came up with the idea to create the musical "Scarlet Sails". The first edition of the work was used when staged by the RAMT theater, a year later the performance was staged on the stage of the Yekaterinburg Musical Comedy Theater and other theater groups of the country. The Perm and Novosibirsk premieres brought the performers the Golden Mask Prize.

Personal life

Like many creative people, Maxim Isaakovich's process of finding a muse was directly related to love. He was always an amorous person, and experiencing hot feelings, he led the chosen one to the registry office. Therefore, in the personal life of Maxim Dunaevsky there were seven wives, and we are talking only about official marriages, not counting numerous novels without registration of relations. For the first time, the composer got married during his student years. Natalya Leonova, the daughter of one of the secretaries of the CPSU Central Committee, became his chosen one. But two years later, the feelings cooled down, and Dunaevsky got used to the fact that if there is no love, then there can be no family, so the marriage broke up.

For the same reason, alliances with Regina Temirbulatova and Elena Dunaevskaya were short-lived. The next was the marriage of Maxim Dunaevsky and Natalia Andreichenko. The actress, who became famous as the performer of the role of Mary Poppins, was the only woman who left her husband herself, and did not wait for him to love again. By the way, Natalia gave her husband and his only son Dmitry, who, however, was raised in America and then in Switzerland by other men.

The wedding with Andreichenko was preceded by a serious romance between Maxim and Nina Spada, which lasted more than two years. The composer dedicated a beautiful composition to her "Call me, call!" from the movie "Carnival". And thanks to this love, Nina gave birth to a daughter, Alina. But since Maxim Dunaevsky did not want to formalize this relationship, Spada married a French subject and moved to Paris. When the daughter of Maxim Dunaevsky grew up, she discovered in herself a musical talent, inherited from her father and grandfather. The girl organized her own group "Markize", with which she performs in France, she herself writes songs in French, English and Russian.

Two more novels with fashion model Olga Danilova and model Olga Sheronova led to an official marriage, however, like all the previous ones, to a short one. The last official wife of the composer was Marina Rozhdestvenskaya, who is 27 years younger than her husband. The wife gave Dunaevsky a daughter, Polina, and Maxim Isaakovich adopted Maria, Marina's daughter from a previous relationship. The girl now has the famous surname of her stepfather. Due to the huge number of marriages, the actress Natalya Andreichenko, who is familiar with most of these women, introduced the term “Maxim Dunaevsky's Wives Club”.

Now Maxim Dunaevsky does not keep in touch with children from Natalya Andreichenko and Nina Spada. With Dmitry, he stopped communicating after a financial scandal in which his son dragged his mother. As for Alina, in 2008, the father broke off relations with her and no longer sees his daughter. The parent declined to comment.

The youngest daughter of the composer Polina has already started her acting career. The girl convinced her parents to try their hand at staging Scarlet Sails. Following the example of the older Maria, who entered the Shchepkinsky Theater School, she plans to study to become an actress.

Maxim Dunaevsky has an official website, has a personal profile on Instagram, where the musician posts photos from his concerts and performances.
