Biography
First determined to pursue a career in law, Matt Czuchry took his first acting classes at university and was encouraged by his professor to pursue this path. After earning his degree in art history and political science, in 2000 he joined the cast of Young Americans alongside Ian Somerhalder and Kate Bosworth. He plays Sean McGrail, Will's childhood friend, the main character of this series canceled at the end of its first season. He then goes on to appear in 7 at home or even Jake 2.0 before obtaining a role in season 2 of The vigilante of the shadows, a series on the Philadelphia police.
It is Gilmore Girls, whom he joins during season 4, which allows him to gain recognition with the public. Matt plays Logan Huntzberger, a wealthy young man who will manage to conquer the heart of the character played by Alexis Bledel, a role that will resume in 2016 in Gilmore Girls: A New Year, on Netflix. Two years after the end of the series, the comedian becomes one of the main characters of The Good Wife. For 7 seasons, he lends his features to Cary Agos, a young lawyer who will very quickly compete with Alicia Florrick (Julianna Margulies).
In 2018, Matt Czuchry was chosen to lend his features to Dr. Conrad Hawkins, a talented but somewhat arrogant doctor in FOX's new medical series The Resident. This is the opportunity for him to face Emily VanCamp and Manish Dayal, whom he had already met on the set of The Good Wife .
