Maryla Rodovich was born in Zielona Gora on December 8, 1945. The family of the father of the future famous singer came from Vilna, where the Rodovichi owned their own pharmacy "Under the Swan".

Maryla's parents moved to Zelena-Guru at the end of World War II, and it was there that their daughter was born. Although the nationality of the artist is predominantly Polish, she has other roots: her grandmother lived in Belarus, and her father was born in Ivano-Frankovsk.

It should be noted that the head of the Rodovich family at that time was considered a representative of the local elite: he was the director of the first lyceum in Poland, as well as the president of the city. Unfortunately, in Soviet times, no one was immune from persecution, and in 1948 he, for some reason, fell out of favor with the communist regime, ended up in prison. The imprisonment of Maryla Rodovich's father lasted until 1956.

The girl spent most of her childhood in Zielona Gora, and she graduated from high school in Wloclawek. After completing her secondary education, she unsuccessfully tried to become a student at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk, after she failed to enter the veterinary faculty of one of the Warsaw universities, and then, deciding not to wait a whole year for a second attempt, she successfully entered the Academy of Physical Education.

The profile of education, perhaps, did not really play a big role for Rodovich, because even then the future successful singer manifested itself in it. The girl played the guitar and sang beautifully, became the vocalist of the student ensemble "Sheytany", and also won the student song competition in Krakow.

It is believed that Maryla Rodovich began her ascent to the creative Olympus in the 1960s, although she was fond of music since childhood. At the same time, the peak of the performer's popularity throughout the USSR fell on the 1970-1980s. The charismatic blonde with long hair, playing the guitar and singing beautiful songs in a strong voice, delighted the audience. Almost every song performed by Maryl became incredibly popular.

It was during this period that, for example, one of the artist's most demanded compositions, "Colorful Fairs", was recorded, which was later donated by Rodovich to Valery Leontyev. At the same time, Daniel was officially married to his previous wife, who refused to give him a divorce, and gradually nothing remained of the passionate love of Olbrykhsky and Rodovich.
