Biography
Recording studio head, songwriter, and Apple accredited arranger Roman Styx was looking for a strong voice and fluent English performer in 2009 to qualify for the Eurovision Song Contest. Having accidentally heard the song "Hurt" by Christina Aguilera performed by a Russian singer of Ukrainian origin Arishata, Roman realized that he had found what he needed. Margarita Pozoyan, known to the public as Arishata, was born on December 21, 1984 in Krasnodar. A few years later, the girl with her parents left for Ukraine, the family settled in the Donetsk region, the city of Artemovsk. Although the girl's roots are Armenian, they come from the Akhalkalaki region of Georgia. During the Great Patriotic War, the singer's grandmother with six children walked from Georgia to the village of Otradnaya in the Krasnodar Territory, where the family remained.
The girl had a love for vocals from early childhood and often participated in children's and youth vocal competitions. In 1997, Rita won the Grand Prix in the Bakhmutskaya Zvezdochka children's art competition. The first award was followed by a victory at the “Father's House” TV Festival (Lyric Song Contest by Evgeny Martynov) in the “Young Voices” nomination. The award was presented to the girl by the master of the Russian stage, fellow countryman Iosif Davydovich Kobzon. Having become an adult and an accomplished singer, Margarita is now, along with Joseph Davydovich, herself a member of the jury of vocal competitions for novice performers.
She graduated from elementary school in the village of Otradnaya (Krasnodar Territory), and then moved to the Anglo-history class of Artemovsk school №11 (Ukraine). In parallel with general education, the girl also studied at a music school, where she was predicted to be a pianist. Rita was a diligent student at school and upon graduation received a gold medal for academic excellence. But by the end of the 11th grade, the girl still could not decide on her future profession and in her heart dreamed of Moscow.

Arriving in the capital of the Russian Federation, Margarita applied to the State Moscow School of Variety and Jazz Art, but on the advice of the chairman of the selection committee of the Mosconcert soloist, a teacher with great experience, Vladimir Khachaturov, Pozoyan entered the second year of the Institute of Contemporary Art at the faculty of academic and pop-jazz singing. As a student, the girl began to write lyrics.
While finishing school, Margarita won the Delphic Games held in Smolensk, and having already become a student, she won a gold medal at the International Delphic Games, which were held in Moldova. Another musical composition that brought Margot's popularity is a kind of patriotic hymn called “Reborn, Russia”.
