As the title suggests, I started manual therapy yesterday. I'm trying to recover my leg after a stroke ... I admit that I was not familiar with exactly how this technique works. After the initial conversation about what I came for and viewing the tests, I lay down on the table and the doctor "started" me. The first few minutes I thought he just wanted to break me in two: D: D: D it was so weird !! There was an extremely ominous popping sound from everywhere ... I had the feeling that he was confusing me under the vertebrae of my spine. And now - the reason why I write at all - I don't know why I mentally collapsed. I cried out of nowhere. It didn't hurt, I had no reason ... the doctor was a professional, but I couldn't control myself. After the session I barely got home and roared for sure 3 hours (again for no reason): X later I read what it was about, and there is an alternative theory that this type of treatment, in addition to coming from antiquity, activates the life energy which, once there is a disease, is blocked somewhere. I believe a lot in Eastern culture ... I think emotions cause a lot of diseases. My question is do you think that harmful emotions have "emerged" after the 10 minute session Will it be the same next time? I don't want to ... now that I go back, I remember that the doctor wasn't particularly impressed by what led me to think it had happened before. I live in Germany, if that matters. Have you practiced this type of treatment? Did it have an effect? Thank you for your attention! My question is do you think that harmful emotions have "emerged" after the 10 minute session? Yes, there was a "passage of vital energy (chi / ki). It often happens during Reiki therapy. It just means that the doctor did his job PERFECTLY! Don't worry about crying at will, the respective chakra / energy center. You can also help yourself with meditation - just breathing, proper breathing for meditation.
