Despite the obvious craving for creativity, after graduating from school, Manizha entered the Russian State University for the Humanities. Her choice fell on the Faculty of Psychology. According to the singer, for a long time, classmates did not even suspect that she was engaged in music. Within the walls of the alma mater, the girl rarely appeared, and singing helped her to pass tests and exams. So, for example, Manizha passed a foreign language, performing songs in English for the teachers of the department.

Manizhi has extensive experience of participating in music competitions and festivals: “Rainbow Stars” (2003), “Kaunas Talent” (2004), “Time to light the stars” (2006), “Navoi Dil” (2007) and others. At the same time, the girl invariably took first places. A new turn in the singer's creative biography took place in 2007, when she began performing under the pseudonym Ru.Kola. The first single "I neglect", released in February, entered the top ten songs of the "Russian Radio" hit parade.

In September 2007, the girl took part in the III All-Russian contest of pop song performers "Five Stars" (Sochi). Ru.Kola was among the finalists, but the main prizes went to other contestants.
