Maksim Сhudov

11/12/1982 in Bashkiria, not far from Ufa in the small village of Mikhailovka, the future three-time world champion Maxim Chudov was born. From the age of six, Max began to master the wisdom of skiing. Having reached the 16th birthday, he was carried away with biathlon.

Mastering biathlon wisdom required constant trips to Ufa, which the parents of the young athlete opposed a lot. In 2002, at the Junior European Cup in Ridnau, Italy, a young athlete who won the sprint, pursuit and relay race managed to score a hat-trick of victories. Despite the young age for a biathlete, in the 2003/2004 season Chudov is entrusted with a place in the Russian national junior team.

2003 is one of the most successful years for the Russian athlete. This time, his personal collection of awards was replenished with a “gold” European Championship and two gold awards from the World Championship. That memorable season ended for the athlete on the highest note: the biathlete won the Russian Championship and received the high status of an international master of sports.
