In 2017, 4 more fights awaited Dadashev. In January, he met in a duel with Americans Jerome Rodriguez, Bilal Mahasin and Clarence Booth and Italian Jose Marrufo, all meetings again ended for Maxim's rivals with knockouts.

The first fight of the Russian in 2018 took place on March 10, his opponent was American Abdiel Ramirez, and Dadashev was awarded the victory by unanimous decision. On June 9, he met in the ring with Colombian Darlace Perez, knocked out the boxer and won the vacant NABF champion title. In the next fight with Antonio DeMarco, he defended his title.
