After Ozdoev showed himself in the amateur football league in Angushta, the 15-year-old athlete was admitted to the Terek junior team. Having signed the contract, Ozdoev stayed in Kiev for six months, but he could not play on the territory of a foreign country due to the fact that he did not reach the 18th birthday. But the Germans became interested in the athlete. But Magomed did not get into the main squad of Schalke 04 for the same reason - because of his young age. The midfielder did not accept the offer to stay in Germany - the father influenced the decision, wishing that his son stay in Russia.

A year later, in 2010, the player was offered to sign a contract by the Russians. So Ozdoev found himself in the Lokomotiv club. The debut took place in July, in the match between the railroad workers and Anji Makhachkala. The Ingush footballer was involved in the 87th minute of the game, replacing midfielder Dmitry Torbinsky with him.

The spring of 2011 brought Magomed Ozdoev his first victory: he scored his debut goal for the Red-Greens, who fought against the now disbanded Volga club from Nizhny Novgorod. The young midfielder was called to the field in the 74th minute, and Ozdoev lived up to his hopes by scoring the ball into the opponent's goal from a long distance.

Then there was a streak of failures in the midfielder's career. After the coaching rotation, Ozdoev did not make it to the starting lineup, and in the 2012/2013 season he managed to score with the only goal scored into the opponent's goal, having played 3 times fewer matches. In the second half-season, the footballer was sent to the junior team. In the summer of 2013, there were rumors about the possible departure of Magomed to CSKA.

Ozdoev in an interview with reporters said that he wants to get into the team under the leadership of the Belarusian coach Leonid Kuchuk, but the desire remained unfulfilled. After “a damn dozen” matches during the season, the midfielder won the bronze medal in the Russian championship and announced his desire to leave Loko.
