Lyudmila Porgina is a Soviet and Russian theater and film actress who starred in such films as "Juno and Avos", "Salome", "The First Circle".

Lyudmila was born and raised in post-war Moscow. Her father Andrei Porgin, who had been in captivity and in a concentration camp during the Great Patriotic War, returned home with poor health and died when Luda was still very tiny. The girl and her younger sister Irina had to be raised by their mother Nadezhda Stepanovna alone. After working there for only one season, the actress moved to the Lenin Komsomol Theater, where she served until 2010.

The most famous performances by Lyudmila Porgina on the Lenkom stage were the musical performances Juno and Avos, The Star and Death of Joaquin Murieta, as well as the children's play The Bremen Town Musicians, in which she brilliantly performed the role of Atamanshi.

Lyudmila Porgina always considered herself primarily a theater actress, so she did not pay much attention to her film career. She made her screen debut in director Samson Samsonov's Shakespearean adaptation of Much Ado About Nothing in 1973. A few years later, the actress starred in the musical comedy The Losers' Ensemble and the historical drama The Life of Beethoven.

In addition, her filmography includes the satirical comedy "Deja Vu", the melodrama "Salome" and a social picture based on the book by Alexander Solzhenitsyn "The First Circle". The appearance of the actress in the musical film "A Little Favor" turned out to be funny.

Victor very much took care of his beloved wife, but this marriage, which lasted a little over a year, was interrupted due to the fact that Porgina met the legendary actor Nikolai Karachentsov in her theater, to whom she later became a wife.

For Nikolai, the actress married in 1975, three years later gave birth to his only child - the son of Andrey. Interestingly, their son did not even think about continuing the dynasty. The young man graduated from the law faculty of MGIMO, today he works as a lawyer. Andrei gave Karachentsov and Porgina wonderful grandchildren: the man already has three children.

The family of Lyudmila and Nikolai was considered exemplary, but in 2005 a tragedy struck. The actress was at the bedside of her dying mother when Porgina was informed about a terrible accident in which her husband got. Karachentsov, having received a complex craniocerebral injury, became disabled. He lay in a coma for 26 days and was never able to finally rehabilitate after that.

The woman had to stop acting in order to fully devote herself to caring for her husband. The family constantly traveled to different countries of the world for treatment and rehabilitation procedures.

Lyudmila Porgina does not want to forget about the legacy of Nikolai Petrovich. The actress presented the release of her husband's book "Avos", which the actor began to write before the accident. The last chapter had to be completed by Lyudmila Andreevna herself.
