Lyubov Sobol became famous as a lawyer for the Anti-Corruption Foundation, organized by politician Alexei Navalny, an active opposition figure, and also as a person who is not afraid to openly express his own opinion. Oppositional sentiments of Sobol and her associates often face a negative reaction from the authorities and ordinary citizens, but Lyubov, by her own admission, is determined to defend her views and do everything possible for the good of her native country.

Lyubov Fedeneva (this is the activist's maiden name) was born on September 13, 1987 in the Moscow region. From an early age, the girl was persistent. It is not surprising that Lyubov graduated from school with a silver medal. The chosen specialty - jurisprudence - Sobol went to study at the Moscow Institute of Law.

While still a student, Lyuba began to apply the acquired knowledge in practice: the girl worked as a secretary of the court session and an assistant judge. In 2006, Sobol continued her education at the law faculty of the Mikhail Lomonosov Moscow State University. Lyubov studied with pleasure, and already in 2011 she became a certified specialist, having received a document with honors.

In the same 2011, the girl joined the members of the RosPil project of Alexei Navalny. This organization was created to investigate the facts of corruption and misappropriation of taxpayers' funds. Lyubov turned out to be close to the ideas of the opposition, so Sobol enthusiastically set to work. As the activist emphasized in an interview with Tatyana Mingalimova, the host of the Gentle Editor project, she became the first lawyer of RosPil, as well as the first girl to join the fund.

The emergence of a specialist in the field of the legal sphere helped to bring the activities of the anti-corruption organization to a new level. As a representative of RosPil, Lyubov took part in the discussion and development of the federal law “On the federal contract system in the procurement of goods, works and services”. According to the organization, the girl managed to achieve changes and even the cancellation of some government contracts and budget purchases.

Soboleva also became a regular participant in civil and near-political events: she attended the forums "Antiseliger", "Last Autumn", and also helped Alexei Navalny organize public rallies and actions, repeatedly acted as an observer during certain elections.

In addition, after the mass arrests of protesters in 2012, the girl, together with activist Maksim Katz and members of the public organization RosUznik, helped the arrested to obtain the necessary legal support.

In 2012, Lyubov Sobol joined the People's Alliance political party (later the organization was called the Party of Progress, and in 2018 it was renamed again. Now the association is known as the Russia of the Future). The party was founded by politician and public figure Leonid Volkov. In the same year, the girl became a member of the Coordinating Council of the Russian Opposition, having surpassed even Sergei Udaltsov and Boris Nemtsov in the voting.

Not without scandals. In 2013, Lyubov Sobol spoke sharply to the recent like-minded person Maxim Katz. The fact is that an activist in LiveJournal made a number of comments to one bill prepared by Alexei Navalny. He, in turn, spoke impartially about Katz's mental abilities and redirected him to Lyubov Sobol, who also reacted rather sharply to criticism. The girl even allowed herself several negative posts on social networks addressed to Maxim Katz. However, these statements were later deleted.

In 2016, Lyubov Sobol delighted supporters with the news that she was going to run for the State Duma. However, the activist failed to implement these plans: the girl had to withdraw her candidacy due to disagreements with members of the Yabloko and Parnas parties, whose support would have allowed Sobol not to collect signatures for admission to the vote.

In the spring of 2017, Sobol became the host of the Cactus project, published on the Navalny LIVE Youtube channel. The guests of the studio were media persons to whom Lyubov asked straightforward and sometimes rather uncomfortable questions. Bloggers Danila Poperechny and Yuri Dud, singer Liza Monetochka and other eminent personalities managed to visit the Kaktus studio.

True, after a while Love left the project. As Sobol later admitted in an interview, she began to sorely lack time for RosPil, for shooting, and for her own life, which is why she had to refuse to participate in this program. According to the girl, it is not her career growth or the size of the salary that matters to her, but the result of her efforts and the future of the country.

Unlike her career and opposition activities, the personal life of Lyubov Sobol is not so public, the girl does not like to flaunt this page of her biography. After a while, the media reported that Sobol was pregnant. The assumptions were confirmed, and in 2014 Lyubov and her husband became parents - the girl gave her husband a daughter, Miroslav.

It is interesting that the appearance and photographs of Sobol with and without makeup are often compared with the image of Ksenia Sobchak. However, this is not at all flattering to Lyubov: the activist admits that she does not trust Xenia and reads with irritation about such comparisons.

In the fall of 2018, a photo of Lyubov Sobol again appeared on the pages of news publications. Some media reported that the activist was arrested, but later it turned out that the girl had only been detained. In addition to Lyubov, a number of Alexei Navalny's supporters were detained, who helped organize a protest against raising the retirement age, scheduled for September 9, the single day of elections in the Russian Federation. After 14 hours, Sable was released, as the girl reported on Twitter and Facebook.

Lyubov, by her own admission, understands that such an episode may not be the last, but she does not intend to stop her opposition activities. By the way, once Sobol's convictions already hurt her family: the activist's husband was attacked. Unknown persons hit the man on the head and injected him with some kind of substance. The intruders were never found, however, according to one of the versions, in this way the criminals wanted to scare Sobol.

Now on Instagram, Twitter and other social networks, another scandal is being discussed: Viktor Zolotov, head of Rosgvardia, challenged Alexei Navalny to a duel and promised to "make a chop out of him" in response to the RosPil fund's investigation into details of state purchases of products for this paramilitary structure.

Alexei Navalny at that time was under administrative arrest and could not answer the general, but Lyubov Sobol released a video for the Navalny LIVE channel, in which she spoke harshly about the behavior of Viktor Zolotov.
