Biography
Lola Creton began her acting career at a very young age: in 2004, at the age of 10, she played in her first short film (Imago). It was in this format that she pursued her career, before landing a small role in the film The Chamber of the Dead (2007). The young actress had fun with many other teenagers in The Children of Timpelbach, but it was with her first role in the adaptation of Bluebeard (2009) by Catherine Breillat that she stood out.
2011 is a good year for Lola, since she obtains the first role in two films acclaimed by the public and the critics: In town by Valérie Mréjen and Bertrand Schefer (the film is presented at the Cannes Film Festival, in the selection of the Fortnight des Réalisateurs) and Un amour de jeunesse by Mia Hansen-Løve, nominated for the Silver Leopard at the Locarno Film Festival. Lola Créton then plays a young woman in search of freedom in After May (2012) by Olivier Assayas.
