Leonid Rudenko

Leonid Rudenko is a DJ from Moscow, whose work was not appreciated in Russia at the beginning of his career. But in the early 2000s, his compositions in Europe were a great success both among fans of electronic dance music, and among managers of leading Western labels. Having gained fame and recognition abroad, Leonid's music began to sound in Russia, gaining popularity with each new composition.

Leonid Anatolyevich Rudenko was born in Moscow on July 16, 1985. The musician's biography is rather laconic and does not spoil fans with information about his family and childhood. Leonid became interested in musical art from the age of 10.

As a child, the future DJ listened to the then popular Bogdan Titamir and his Kar-Men group and the entire repertoire of the Europa Plus radio station. Rudenko's first favorite bands were "The Chemical Brothers" and "The Prodigy". Music created with the help of electro-musical instruments and electronic technologies was a novelty for Russia in the mid-1990s and attracted the attention of a young man.

Soon, Leonid's musical tastes shifted from the side of a new developing direction - trance. Unaccustomed to the ear, synthetic sounds, short repeating phrases, deep timbre and high tempo served as an incentive for the young man to try his hand in this direction.

Inspired by Western idols, Leonid wrote several of his own tracks and sent the recordings to a number of Russian studios. However, compatriots did not appreciate the talent of the young talent.

The first to appreciate the talent of the Russian DJ was a manager who worked in the studio of the popular German musician Paul van Dyck. The Germans asked Leonid to send a few more samples, after which Rudenko began to work closely with a German recording studio. Leonid created a remix of one of Paul van Dyck's musical compositions and 4 more of his own tracks.

Gradually, the work of the Russian beginning DJ came to other European countries. Particularly successful was the collaboration of Leonid Rudenko with the independent Dutch record label Armada Music, where Marcus Schultz, Aly & Fila, PerryO'Neil and others recorded their compositions. Also, the Russian DJ worked with the Black Hole label. Soon Leonid signed his first contract with a record company from Belgium.

The peak of Leonid Rudenko's musical career came in 2006-2007, when his songs topped all the popular European charts. According to unofficial information, in January 2018, Leonid and Irina reconciled after a serious quarrel and resumed their relationship. Indeed, on the personal page of the famous DJ, photos are posted where Leonid poses, gently hugging Irina around the waist, however, the pictures date back to November 2017.

In addition, information appeared in the media that on Irina's Instagram page on Valentine's Day in 2018, a photo with Ukrainian footballer Aderinsol Eseola was published. So fans can only guess what is really going on between Irina and Leonid.
