Leonid Buryak

Leonid Buryak is a Ukrainian footballer. After completing his sports career, the former Dynamo Kiev player and the representative of the Soviet national team became a coach. In the 2002/2003 season, he even acted as the senior mentor of the Ukrainian football team.

Leonid was born in Odessa on July 10, 1953. The boy's father died early, and his mother was left with three children in her arms. The child from childhood was accustomed to work and took part in supporting the family. He helped fishermen in the working area of ​​the city (Peresyp), pulling out tackle and packing prey.
