Leonid Aleksandrovich Bichevin joined the world of Russian cinema, playing in the film "Cargo 200" and the drama film "Morphine". He then did not even imagine how much he was lucky to play in such a project; even famous and successful theater actors dreamed of cooperation with a popular director.

Leonid was greatly impressed by the artist Sergei Makovetsky, who was also involved in the play. In the eyes of the guy, he was like the god of the theatrical stage, because the aspiring artist was simultaneously shocked and delighted with the opportunity to play with him.

By the way, Bichevin's mother, having learned that her son had played with Makovetsky himself, almost fainted. It was then that the student was finally convinced of the correctness of his choice.

After graduating from college, the talented actor was invited to the troupe of the Yevgeny Vakhtangov Theater. On its stage, Leonid played in the productions of Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves, Cyrano de Bergerac and The Dog in the Manger. He again met with the director Tuminas during the preparation of the play "Troilus and Cressida", in which Bichevin got the central role.

The picture turned out to be successful, and Alexey promised to involve the artist in the next project.

A year later, the director fulfilled his promise and invited Leonid to the main role in the film based on the work of Mikhail Bulgakov "Morphine". To reliably convey drug addiction, Bichevin went to a rehabilitation center where addicts were being treated. He talked with them for a long time, attended anonymous meetings.

The picture was released in 2008 and brought the actor the long-awaited fame and popularity. In auteur cinema, a tall (180 cm tall) and thin artist with sophisticated, sometimes frightening facial features quickly gained popularity and became a desirable candidate for the role of non-standard characters.

At the same time, the show of the drama about the relationship between fathers and children "Life on loan" starts, where Leonid appears in an acting ensemble together with Natalia Andreichenko and Evgeny Antropov. In 2009, the actor got the main role in the film Palm Sunday, where many recognized and rising stars of Russian cinema also played: Dmitry Dyuzhev, Svetlana Ivanova, Oleg Basilashvili, Ekaterina Guseva and others.

An interesting project for the actor was the film "Podsadnaya", where he was reincarnated as the hero of Nikolai, helping the investigation. This was followed by shooting in the spy film "The Last Meeting", where Bichevin played the role of a young KGB officer.
