Hi, I need some advice. In short, I moved to Scotland last year. I mention the country so you can imagine the climate - rain, cold and humidity. In the beginning, everything was okay, from a health point of view. I have always had sinusitis, which I took care of during the winter in Bulgaria with warm hats and warm compresses. Everything was fine as long as I lived in this humidity for a few months. A sneeze started in the morning, which later turned into a stuffy nose. Out of stupidity, I bought nose drops, like Olint's, and used them for a while. At one point I began to lose my sense of smell and later my taste. The only thing I recognize is sour, spicy, sweet and salty. I went to the doctor several times - I was prescribed all sorts of drops, which did not have much effect. The great achievement was, when I regained my sense of smell for about 2 weeks. And then I went back to normal. I really tried everything - from washes to medications - obviously almost a year later I have no improvement. There are days when something seems to unclog my nose and my receptors start working at max, but it's all in a few minutes. I guess you can imagine how I feel when I eat and don't taste the food. If anyone has encountered a similar problem and has a solution, I would be happy for ideas. I guess you can imagine how I feel when I eat and don't taste the food. You have chronic sinusitis. Have you had any injections? Did you take a steam bath with chamomile?
