Biography
A former professional tennis player for a brief period, Kristen Connolly finally chose the profession of actress at 22. After a few recurring roles in short films for the comedy site CollegeHumor, her career on the big screen started modestly with a few appearances in films of various genres (Mona Lisa's smile, Phenomena, Appelez-moi Dave, Confessions d'une addicted to shopping).
At the same time, the young actress is looking for herself and multiplies small roles on television, still showing eclecticism in her choices: she holds recurring roles in soaps (Haine et Passion, As The World Turns) and other more minor in Life On Mars or Nurse Jackie.
The recognition came in 2011, thanks to her first leading role in the horror film The Cabin in the Woods by Drew Goddard, produced by Joss Whedon. Horror seems to appeal to Kristen Connolly, who continues to play scare herself in Barry Levinson's new film The Bay. The actress also continues to prove herself on the small screen in the phenomenon series House of Cards, alongside Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright.
