The cinematic biography of the actor began while studying at the school. Konstantin Raikin made his film debut at the age of 19. The young actor played a mischievous high school student in the comedy "Tomorrow, April 3rd ...". Then he appeared in the children's films "The Clown" and "The Kid and Carlson Who Lives on the Roof", as well as in the military drama about submariners "Commander of the Happy Pike".
Raikin gained great popularity after filming the adaptation of the Shakespearean comedy Much Ado About Nothing, which was followed by another significant role - the Tatar Kayun in the historical story "One among strangers, a stranger among friends." It should be noted separately that Konstantin, one of the few stars of the film, performed all the stunts on his own, without the help of stuntmen and stunt doubles.
But the most resounding success awaited Raikin in 1976, when the two-part comedy Truffaldino from Bergamo was released. The picture came out musical, light, cheerful. True, Konstantin did not sing there himself - the actor was "helped" by Mikhail Boyarsky.
But the actor performed incredible dance steps on his own. Other musical films appeared in the artist's career - "The Island of the Lost Ships" and "The Maid of Rouen, nicknamed Pyshka".
Having proved to everyone that his comedic talent is undeniable, Raikin suddenly switched to dramatic roles. In the film adaptation of the play by Yevgeny Schwartz "A Shadow, or Maybe Everything Will Be All Right", the actor played two characters at once - the Scientist and his Shadow, and in the drama "Russian Ragtime" he played the bandit Mahmud.
In 2002, Konstantin Raikin decided on the role of the famous detective Hercule Poirot in the mini-series Poirot's Failure based on the novels of the detective queen Agatha Christie. But in general, in the 21st century, the actor played more in television performances, and since 2006 he began to shoot documentaries about famous personalities: Korney Chukovsky, Oleg Tabakov, Vasily Chapaev and about himself.

It turns out that Konstantin was in love with her as a teenager. But this family was not happy either.
Raikin found family comfort only by marrying actress Elena Butenko. In 1988, the couple had a daughter, Polina, who chose the same path as her parents and became an actress. Today he plays at the Stanislavsky Theater and regularly takes part in the filming of films.

In January 2017, Konstantin Raikin underwent surgery. The actor was injured - a tendon rupture of the thigh muscle. This serious injury required urgent surgical intervention, but soon after the surgery, the doctors assessed the condition of Konstantin Raikin as stable and stated that there was no threat to the artist's life and health. But the actor still spent some time under the supervision of doctors in a hospital, and was also forced to undergo rehabilitation rehabilitation.
In February of the same year, Konstantin Raikin had already entered the stage, gave a poetic solo performance "The sky above the booth ..." at the Dmitry Shostakovich Philharmonic. At the same time, the artist spoke sharply about Russia during the performance, which attracted the attention of the press. Konstantin Raikin called the country a “necrophilous state”.
The head of "Satyricon" explained his words by the fact that Russian society begins to love poets only after their death. According to the artist, this approach has already ruined a number of talented individuals. To prove his words, Raikin named Lev Gumilyov, Sergei Yesenin, Marina Tsvetaeva, Vladimir Mayakovsky, Osip Mandelstam and Boris Pasternak.
This is not the first time Konstantin Raikin criticizes Russian culture at his own concerts and in interviews, and a number of statements by the artist managed to cause scandals among Raikin's colleagues. Thus, the artist criticized the "shop solidarity" of the theater workers, which does not allow speaking unflatteringly about colleagues and contradicts freedom of speech.
In November 2017, a new concert by Konstantin Raikin, held in Odessa, attracted the attention of journalists. A group of nationalists, screaming, burst into the V. Vasilko Odessa Academic Ukrainian Music and Drama Theater, where the artist was performing, and disrupted the concert.
The intruders recorded this event on video. The broadcast of the action and the subsequent disruption of Raikin's solo performance was posted on his Facebook page by the ex-head of the Odessa branch of the Right Sector extremist organization (banned in the Russian Federation) Sergey Sternenko. This video also shows that after the nationalists burst into the hall, Konstantin Raikin left the stage, but the audience began to try to return the artist.
After Raikin interrupted the speech, two dozen nationalists remained in the hall, where they voiced their own reasons for disrupting the event, and also began to argue with the outraged spectators. According to the organizers of the disruption of the performance, they were outraged by the artist's statements about Crimea and his approval of the annexation. According to the people who disrupted the concert, this is a sufficient reason not to let the artist perform on any Ukrainian stage. However, earlier in the week, the artist calmly performed solo performances in Kiev and Kharkov.
