The future musician was born in Moscow on February 1, 1951. From childhood, Konstantin was attracted by music, and at the age of 12, his father helped the boy choose his first guitar. So Nikolsky began to master chords and overshoots.

By the age of 15, Konstantin was already playing pretty well and even joined the rock band as a rhythm guitarist. This teenage group, which bore the loud name "Crusaders", mastered the musical craft, performing compositions of the popular Beatles and The Rolling Stones at that time.

Soon the "Crusaders" changed their name, becoming "Atlanteans" (the fact is that all members of the group were as if they were tall). The group performed in local recreation centers, schools and small concert venues.

It is noteworthy that the Russian stage owes to the Atlantes the emergence of the Time Machine group, created by Andrei Makarevich: the concert of this group inspired him to found his own musical project.

After graduating from school, Konstantin Nikolsky went to college, but soon dropped out and went to repay his debt to his homeland. The musician happened to serve in the army in Ukraine. At that time, the most famous composition of the singer was written under the name "Musician" (the first name of this song is "The Venetian Musician").

Returning from the army, Konstantin Nikolsky continued to perform in the company of old comrades. The group received a new name - "Shards of Sikorsky's Helicopter", and the team's repertoire was replenished with the same "Musician", as well as the songs "You Wanted to See the World" and "Russia", which Nikolsky also wrote during the service.

After some time, the band once again changes its name, becoming the "Happy Family", and in 1974 Konstantin Nikolsky left the group to join a new musical team - Stas Namin's group "Flowers". As often happens with young groups, the collective soon fell apart, and Stas Namin began a new project called "Stas Namin's Group", in which he also invited Nikolsky.

Until 1979, Konstantin Nikolsky changed several more groups, and then founded his own group - "Resurrection". At first, Konstantin was helped by musicians Yevgeny Margulis, Andrei Sapunov and Sergey Kavagoe.

Soon "Resurrection" had its first disc, which included the compositions "Musician", "Night Bird", "Play with Me, Thunderstorm" and others. Many of the songs from that very first album are still loved by music lovers.

After a while, Resurrection also fell apart: the musicians did not achieve success, and there was no incentive to perform. However, Konstantin Nikolsky did not lose faith in his own talent and in 1981 he gathered the group again to record the second disc. This album was released under the title "Resurrection - 2". Most of all music lovers fell in love with the composition "One Look Back", but in general this album did not gain popularity either. The Resurrection group collapsed again.

Until 1986, Konstantin Nikolsky continued to perform solo, collecting small halls and slowly but surely gaining fame and popularity. In 1986, the musician teamed up with drummer Vitaly Bondarchuk to record an album. This temporary union was named "The Mirror of the World", but the musicians did not work together. And already in 1990, Konstantin Nikolsky finally went on a solo voyage.

Nikolsky's first solo disc - "I'm wandering off-road ..." - was released in 1992. The musician recorded the next album in 1996. This disc became a collection of Konstantin's favorite hits, recorded with a new arrangement.

In 2001, the musician celebrated his 50th anniversary with concerts and the release of the collection Musician. Three years later, Nikolsky's discography was replenished with another disc, which was called "I Only Dream of My Life". Due to health problems for the next few years, the musician took a break from recording albums and videos, and in 2007 the long-awaited novelty appeared - the album "Illusions".

After graduation, Marina and Konstantin Nikolsky did not communicate for many years, and then they met by chance and never parted. In 1985, the wife gave Nikolsky a daughter. The girl was named Julia.

Julia Nikolskaya followed in her father's footsteps: the girl sings talentedly. And although Yulia's profession is not associated with music (Nikolsky's daughter studied foreign languages ​​at the institute), she repeatedly appeared on stage with her star father.

In 2017, musician and producer Sergei Mirov wrote a book about the fate and work of the Resurrection group and Konstantin Nikolsky. Therefore, the name of the singer is never mentioned on the pages of the work. Sergey Mirov replaced it with the abbreviation TKNN (the one who cannot be named).
