The operation you go through is laser, I went through it and you recover in a week. You better do it. I've been through all the crises and injections. I have lived peacefully since they seduced me. Go ahead and good luck :) M 22

No, gallstones will not go away even if you follow a super strict diet. It's just that some people are prone to them and others less so. You are lucky that they are stones, not the so-called slag, which is rather sand and clogs the channels very badly. With stones, people spend years, years, even a lifetime. Crises are very, very painful, I know from experience. But, there is one big BUT, if the crises become more frequent, it can hit you in the pancreas and you develop pancreatitis, and the pain in pancreatitis is such that the bile crises will seem like a caress with a feather. Plus, pancreatitis itself is a pretty serious condition. Even in some cases it is life-threatening. Personal advice from me - go for surgery, if you have a really skilled surgeon, you will not feel anything. A laparoscopy is done with 2-3 very small incisions, who then disappear completely, general anesthesia and 3-4 days after the intervention out of the hospital. The bad thing is that 24 hours before the operation you do not have to eat anything, and 12 hours before that you cannot drink water. You spend 1 day in the intensive care unit and then another 2-3 in the ward. They put you a dogwood, which they remove when you write it, and a week after you write it, you go to remove the threads. A separate issue is that laparoscopic operations are NOT covered by the health insurance fund and you have to pay for consumables, which roughly amount to about 1300-1400 BGN. The stay in the hospital itself is at the health insurance fund. The other thing is that if you have an operation and you are offered the traditional way, which is taken over entirely by the health insurance fund - the procedure is cutting from top to bottom, removing the gallbladder and closing - a huge scar for life, difficult recovery and very severe pain after surgery. After the removal of the gallbladder you have to follow a diet for at least a year, I will not go into detailed explanations of what it is, there is a detailed one on the net. After a year, you can afford a little of this or that, and after 2, you have no problems with anything, as long as it is in moderation. This surgeon who operated on me from the same is a longtime friend of mine, a lecturer at MA-Sofia and one of the best abdominal surgeons in Bulgaria. If the moderators give and you want, I can write you his name to consult with him. Greetings, and you know - there is nothing scary. There is no way to remove the stones. Surgery is the only salvation and I advise you not to delay, because in a more serious crisis you can make peritonitis and then there is a real risk to your life. And so - the operation is easy than the so-called bloodless. I describe what awaits you - you go to the hospital, they examine you and the next day they operate on you. They just make 4 small holes in your abdomen, put various surgical manipulators in them and take out your bile. You are under general anesthesia and you do not feel anything. After 2-3 days they lose and that's it. The trauma of the body is many times less than a normal operation, the scars disappear completely and nothing is visible. Just don't procrastinate so you don't end up with a real cut.
