The future spouse suggested to the permanent leader of the rock band Dmitry Revyakin to name the group "Kalinov Most". But the first concerts of the ensemble, which was assembled by a student of the Novosibirsk Electrotechnical Institute, Dmitry Revyakin, who was keen on poetry, took place much earlier. While working as a DJ at discos, Revyakin dreamed that he would create his own music.

He was joined by students of the same institute: Viktor Chaplygin sat down at the drums, Andrey Shchennikov became the bass player, and during 1986 Dmitry Selivanov was the guitarist, with whom Revyakin had previously played in the Zdorovye band. Soon, due to disagreements, the leader's namesake left Kalinov Most and was replaced by Vasily Smolentsev. The quartet turned out to be so strong that it existed in this form for a decade. It is considered the "golden composition" of the Novosibirsk team.

Shchennikov was the first to leave this group. At this time, the musicians are working on the fifth studio album "Arms" and Oleg Tatarenko is invited to record the bass parts. He has been working with Kalinovy ​​Most throughout 1999, and then he is replaced by Evgeny Baryshev, who remains in the team until 2003.

However, as soon as the ensemble acquires a permanent bassist, a vacancy for a guitarist arises: in 2001, Smolentsev ceases to cooperate with Revyakin and Chaplygin. A year after him, Stas Lukyanov and Evgeny Kolmakov played in the KM, and in 2003 Igor Khomich joined the group. In the same year, Oleg Tatarenko returned to the bass player's place.

Neither Tatarenko nor Khomich stayed in the group for more than a few years. Since mid-2006, Kalinov Most has been finding a new guitarist. It becomes Konstantin Kovachev, who later plays the lute, harp and keyboards in some of the ensemble's songs. A little later, Andrei Baslyk took Tatarenko's place. The bass player is also responsible for the backing vocals. Along with the permanent Revyakin and Chaplygin, Baslyk and Kovachev are musicians of the current composition of the rock group.

The initial stage of the group's creativity - until the 90s - is close in philosophy and style to the hippie movement. It is no coincidence that the song "Girl in Summer" from the first magnetic album, released in 1986, was included in the soundtrack of the film "House of the Sun". The film, dedicated to the life of "flower children" in the USSR, was shot by Garik Sukachev, using the story of Ivan Okhlobystin for the plot.

Also during this period, compositions with civil lyrics appear: "Siberian March", "Cossack" and others.

"Kalinov Most" receives positive reviews from colleagues in the workshop: Yuri Shevchuk, Boris Grebenshchikov, Alexander Bashlachev. In 1987, the team performed for the first time in St. Petersburg, and Konstantin Kinchev represented the Novosibirsk public. Musicians perform in rock clubs, at festivals, participate in apartment buildings.

In 1989, Revyakin returned to Novosibirsk, and the rest of the band members were forced to play other people's songs at concerts and tours, mostly from foreign bands. For a year and a half, Dmitry has been creating material that allows the team to start cooperation with the Stas Namin Center.

In 1991 the first studio album "Vyvorot '" was recorded, compositions for the discs "Uzaren" and "Darza" were created and recorded at the same time. The lyrics of this period are marked by the use of anachronisms, Old Church Slavonic, images characteristic of pagan culture. Revyakin later defines the genre of music as “new Cossack songs”.

The album "Arms" brings wide fame, and with it the financial stability to Kalinov Most. Unlike previous records, the arrangements are devoid of the sound of keyboards and horns, and the acoustic guitar is barely noticeable behind the rigidity of drums and the pressure of electric guitars. The militancy that permeates the music on the disc impressed the critics, who called "Arms" a landmark album for Russian rock. The song "Native" became a hit, the second clip in the history of "Kalinova Most" was shot on it. In 2016, the group performed a song together with Alena Korotaeva, a participant in the Blue Bird competition.

Three years later, the band's popularity is consolidated by the album "Ruda", but then there is a break in the release of new material. Continuing to tour, "Kalinov Most" is experiencing a change in composition. Personal tragedy is superimposed on the instability of the period: the wife of vocalist Dmitry Revyakin, Olga, dies of a heart attack. A year after the sad event and five years after the release of the previous album, "Kalinov Most" presents the disc "SWA". The lyrical, ballad-filled release is dedicated to Olga Revyakina.

Later, a similar disc will appear in the discography of Novosibirsk residents - the album "Heart", released in 2009. But between the two releases in 2007 there will be Ice Campaign, which Revyakin will call the pinnacle of the band's creativity and the fulfillment of its mission. The first violin is played by ideological lyrics, in which the author's sympathy for Orthodoxy and the White movement is felt.

At the end of the 2000s, Kalinov Most is invited to become a headliner by the organizers of the largest festivals: Invasion, Rock-Ethno-Stan, Heart of Parma and others. The attention from music producers becomes a launching pad for the band's creativity in the second decade of the 21st century. Since 2010, Revyakin and the company have released five albums, starting with the unusually daring "Eskhato" with the belligerent hit "Mother Europe". The worldview, contemplative album "Golden Oat" is replaced by the urbanistic, tough disc "Contra".

In 2016, the group released their 16th studio album, Season of the Sheep. It is noteworthy that funds for the release were collected through crowdfunding. Thanks to the successful campaign, the presentation of the new block of creativity of the Novosibirsk people took place, and the participants of the collection received digital copies of the disc.

In February 2018, Dmitry Revyakin received an award in the nomination Soloist of the Year from Nashe Radio as part of the Chart Dozen Award. And it is no coincidence: the hit "Kalinova Most" "To the Urals" sounded on the air of the station throughout 2017.

In April 2018, Novosibirsk citizens announced the launch of a crowdfunding campaign to raise funds for the release of the Dauria album. The name was given in honor of the ancient naming of the Trans-Baikal Territory, native to Revyakin. It is expected that the recording will take place in Stas Namin's studio. The release is scheduled for December 2018.
