Kai Metov is one of the brightest representatives of show business of the dashing 90s, whose star lit up in the sky of the musical Olympus in 1993 thanks to the song "Position 2".

Kairat Erdenovich Metov was born on September 19, 1964 in Karaganda, and then moved with his family to Almaty.

After the end of the service, Kai, as a soloist-instrumentalist, collaborates with musical groups of the Tambov Regional Philharmonic, at the same time gaining experience as a sound engineer and arranger. In 1993 the debut album Position No. 2 was released. The hit of the same name, for which the video was shot, later became the artist's hallmark.

During the "break", the artist starred in the reality show "Call of Fate-2". In it, the owner of a VIP-dating agency, Peter Listerman, was looking for a bride of the 90s star. Tamara Maiskaya became the winner of the show. Outside of the TV show, the musician did not have a relationship with the red-haired beast, and he again set out on a free voyage, albeit not for long.

In 2013, in Oksana Pushkina's program “I am filing for divorce”, a “confrontation” took place between the artist and Olga Filimontseva. The reunion of the former lovers lasted exactly 45 minutes (airtime).
