Biography
After a childhood spent in a rural Ohio suburb, Justin Chambers traveled to France after graduating from high school. Noticed by an agent in the Paris metro, he began a successful career as a top model which brought him back to the United States in the early 90s. While continuing his activities as a model, he quickly turned to television, and began in 1995 in the soap Another World . He appeared the following year in New York Undercover (1996).
He made his film debut in 2000 in front of Barry Levinson's camera in the drama Liberty Heights. He knows the revelation in 2001 with A Too Perfect Marriage by Adam Shankman, in which he plays the transfixed lover Massimo, who is desperately trying to get Jennifer Lopez's hand. The same year, he took the lead role in D'Artagnan (2001) by Peter Hyams.
Justin Chambers returned to the small screen in 2003 with a recurring role in the Cold Case series, before joining ABC's hugely successful Grey's Anatomy (2005) two years later. In this medical series, he plays a pretentious and arrogant young intern alongside Ellen Pompeo and Patrick Dempsey.
