Radical changes in the biography of the young man took place in the 3rd year of university. Director's assistant Vytautas Zhalakevičius approached Juozas. The student was invited to audition for the film Nobody Wanted to Die. The attractive young man immediately agreed, because Budraitis was promised to pay 13 rubles for one shooting day (the scholarship of the future lawyer was 23 rubles a month).
