Julie M. Benz was born in Pittsburg to a surgeon father and a skater mother. At three, she followed in her footsteps, and at 16, she participated - like her brother and sister - in the American Junior Ice Dance Championship. A bad fall ends a promising career! A year later, she decided to turn to the profession of actress and began by joining a local theater company.
