Biography
Daughter of a Disney host and a stay-at-home mom, Julia Butters is precocious to say the least, since she begins to appear in commercials at the age of two. When she was five, she had her first role in an episode of Criminal Minds. After playing one of John Krasinski's daughters in Michael Bay's 13 Hours, the young actress landed a role in seasons 2 and 3 of the series Transparent, winner of the Golden Globe for best comedy series in 2015.
She continues with another series, the sitcom American Housewife, where she has been for four seasons the youngest of a dysfunctional family. In 2019, at only ten years old, she was a young film prodigy in Once Upon A Time… in Hollywood, Quentin Tarantino's highly anticipated ninth film. She meets Rick Dalton, alias Leonardo DiCaprio, on the set of a western.
