The restless character prevented the teenager from graduating from school: the negligent student was left for the second year, and then completely expelled. But what happened and its consequences (the inability to enter the university) did not upset Joseph in the least. Before, together with his father, a military man, he was in Latvia and with the beginning of the Great Patriotic War to move to Omsk, he managed to work at the factory.

In 1947, the guy was drafted into the army. Aleshkovsky found himself in the Navy, where a couple of years later being late for the train played a cruel joke on him. The young man, in order to be on time, decided to violate military discipline (car theft), for which he was sentenced to four years in prison.

But, as they say, every cloud has a silver lining - and it was behind bars that the prisoner created his debut single "The birds did not fly where we walked." When he was released, he seriously thought about entering the Literary Institute, but soon abandoned this venture, knowing the features of his tough disposition.

Returning to Moscow, the young man, in order not to fall under the article on parasitism, got a job at a construction site and worked as a driver. In parallel with this, he began to hone his singing skills, later switching to books for children, scripts for films and television, and reaching large works.

Irina Dmitrievna Nikiforova became the first wife of the main Russian "swearing man" of Russian literature. She, who gave her only son in 1967, was an African philologist by profession, and a mountain climber by vocation.
