Biography
Born in Panama to a supermodel mother and a banker father, the young Jordana Brewster arrived in New York at the age of 10, where she attended school for professional children before entering Yale University.
From the age of 15, she appears on the small screen in two American soap operas (La Force du destin, then As the World Turns, where she will hold one of the main roles for three years), before joining the band student alien killers from The Faculty, a cult science fiction film by Robert Rodriguez (1999), and to enter the credits of The Invisible Circus (2003), alongside Cameron Diaz and Christopher Eccleston .
In 2001, Jordana Brewster embarked on the road to success when she took the Fast & Furious vehicle, a large production mounted on freewheels produced by Rob Cohen. She plays Mia Toretto, a young woman with a strong character who has Vin Diesel for brother and Paul Walker for boyfriend - a role acclaimed by the public that she will resume in the fourth, fifth and sixth opus of the saga (by Justin Lin ), respectively in theaters in 2009, 2011 and 2013.
Meanwhile, the actress uses her charms in the comedy DEBS (2005), the drama Annapolis (2006, first collaboration with Justin Lin), or the Texas Chainsaw Massacre: the beginning (2007), prequel to the original where it falls under the fatal cleaver of Leatherface.
On the television side, she won in 2008-2009 in several episodes of Chuck in the role of the hero's ex-girlfriend - a short but important participation in the mythology of the series - and since 2012 lends her features to the news generation of the Dallas series.
