Also in 2009, a pair of Gureiro and Ryazanova participated in the Russian Championship, where they became the first. Despite successful performances, the duo split up this year. Alexander Zhulin began to train them. The couple made their debut at the 2015 Russian Championship, where they managed to take fifth place. For the next two seasons in a row, they became the first in the Russian Cup.

In mid-May 2017, the skaters changed their coach again. Elena Kustarova and Svetlana Alekseeva began to train them. Jonathan had already worked with them before, and at that time he had to leave their group due to the absence of a partner. Gureiro and Zagorski did not plan to go to the 2018 Olympics in Pyeongchang, since the Russian quota in ice dancing was only 2 couples, which had already been selected.
