Biography
Growing up in Wythenshawe in the Manchester district, John Bradley-West graduated from Manchester Metropolitan School of Theater . He began to act for the first time on television in 2011 in the historical series Borgia, where he played Cardinal Giovanni De Medici in five episodes. That same year, he played the character Samwell Tarly in the fantasy fiction Game of Thrones, which quickly became his favorite role on television.
Along with his participation in the popular series adapted from the work of George RR Martin, he participates in other television projects such as the trash Shameless, on a modest family from a small English town, or Merlin. In 2012, he appeared in the cinema in the drama Anna Karenine, by Joe Wright, where he played the Austrian Prince alongside Keira Knightley and Jude Law. His career on the big screen is then launched. But 2014 marked his real cinematic debut when he played Rodrigo in New Amsterdam, Swedish filmmaker Daniel Fridell's adventure film about New York City history, and Casca in Shakespeare's adapted thriller Caesar, second feature film by Tiago Mesquita as director.
