Writer Jim Butcher, who in the photo looks like an avid hippie, was able to create his own literary universe, inhabited by werewolves, dragons and vampires. Dossier Dresden has a successful comic adaptation by Butcher and an unsuccessful TV version - Detective Dresden: The X-Files, which closed after Season 1. The main role in the film was played by Paul Blackthorn.

In 2004, Butcher launched the second series of books, The Alera Code. In the first book of the series "The Furies of Calderon", unlike the "Dossier of Dresden", the events take place not in a modern American city, but in the fictional state of Alera, which is on the brink of civil war.

At the end of 2018, between the writer and producer Eileen Meisel, among whose film projects is the British interpretation of Eugene Onegin, the films Inkheart and The Golden Compass, negotiations were underway about a new film adaptation of the Dresden Dossier series, but about filming the series in 2019 The media were silent.
