Biography
Jillian Bell was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. She developed a passion very early on for theatrical improvisation, which she practiced at the age of 8. After graduating from Bishop Gorman High School in 2002, the young woman moved to Los Angeles and became a member of the Groundlings, a comedy troupe specializing in improvisation.
Jillian subsequently auditions to join the cast of Saturday Night Live. She was finally hired to be one of the authors in 2009, for the 35th season. She came out of the shadows in 2011 with the role of Jillian Belk in the sitcom Workaholics. This opens the doors of the cinema to him. The following year, we find the actress in the hit comedy My best friends by Paul Feig.
Bell toured the same year under the direction of Paul Thomas Anderson in The Master, alongside Joaquin Phoenix. She joined the following year the cast of season 4 of the comic series Kenny Powers; the actress embodies the popular character of Dixie. While continuing to shoot in Workaholics, Jillian shoots for the big screen.
