Jean-noel Brouté

After having followed the courses of the Conservatory of Versailles as well as the free class of the famous Cours Florent, Jean-Noël Brouté began his career as an actor on the stage. He works in particular under the direction of the great Swiss director Benno Besson, traveling companion of Bertolt Brecht, who staged the play "Thousand francs of reward" from the work of Victor Hugo. He turned to the cinema at the beginning of the 80s with small roles such as that of the student in the comedy signed Ariel Zeitoun: Souvenirs, souvenirs (1984).

In 1985, he found himself alongside Victoria Abril, Fabrice Luchini and Pascal Bonitzer in Pierre Zucca's adventure, Rouge-Gorge. He then turns in Blue Helmet (1994) by Gérard Jugnot and is invited in 1995 to Une femme française, under the direction of Régis Wargnier. He was noticed in the meantime by Bruno Podalydès: the filmmaker offered him the role of Mathieu in his comedy Versailles rive gauche (1992), which marked the beginning of a series of collaborations. Indeed, the actor is part of the team of God Alone Sees Me in 1998, then finds the same director in 2001 for the comedy Liberté-Oléron, in which he plays a sailing instructor desperate for Jacques' amateurism, alias Denis Podalydès. Their collaboration will continue in particular with Bancs publics (Versailles right bank) in 2009.

After the unclassifiable But who killed Pamela Rose? (2003), he made a foray into the world of Gaston Leroux with Le Mystère de la chambre jaune, followed by Le Parfum de la dame en noir, in which he lent his features to Sainclair, Rouletabille's faithful assistant. Grand winner of the Césars in 2007 with two statuettes, and acclaimed by the public, the thrillerDon't Tell Anyone marks his first experience in a genre other than comedy. In the same year, he agreed to play in Marc Fitoussi's first film: the bittersweet comedy La Vie d'Artiste. Between series (Marie Besnard, the poisoner ...), TV films (Longue Peine, The Dance of the Albatross) and cinema, Jean-Noël Brouté multiplies his roles and manages to make himself known to the public. He lent his voice to the collective animated film Pleine Lune in 2008, then appeared with Alain Resnais, playing the role of Mickey in the astonishing Les Herbes folles in 2009. The director will invite him again in 2012 for You don't. seen nothing yet.

Faithful to comedies, Brouté gives the answer to Thierry Lhermitte and François Berléand in Le Siffleur (2009) by Philippe Lefebvre, then finds Jean-Paul Rouve and Richard Berry in Le Coach (id.) By Olivier Doran. He began 2012 with his presence in Pierre Pinaud's comedy-drama, Parlez-moi de vous, in which he shared the screen with Karin Viard. He then finds the Podalydès brothers in Adieu Berthe or granny's funeral before joining the great team of Asterix and Obelix: In the service of his Majesty by Laurent Tirard, in which he finds himself alongside Gérard Depardieu, de Fabrice Luchini and Catherine Deneuve.
