Biography
Jean-François Cayrey takes his first steps as an actor with the humorous short program Tongs et Paréo. Bob, his character, is in charge of the nautical activities, but there is a catch, he has an irrational fear ... of water! Better known for his sketches, the comedian was invited to play in Jamel Debbouze's series, Inside Jamel Comedy Club in 2009. Thanks to this program, he met a slew of comedians such as Fabrice Eboué, Thomas Ngijol , Frédéric Chau, Amelle Chahbi or even Wahid Bouzidi and Claudia Tagbo, already present in the cast of Tongs and Paréo.
In 2011, the director duo Nakache and Toledano offered him a small role in their box Intouchables. The following year, he made a brief appearance in the short pastille of the Grand Journal of Canal +. At the same time, when Jean-François Cayrey was noticed by Jamel Debbouze, the latter offered him to play at the "Jamel Comedy Club". Following this, he began to write a one-man-show.
With its success rising on the stage, the cinema opens its doors to him. He plays several small roles in comedies Comme des frères (2012), Vive la France (2013), Born somewhere (id.) And Situation amoureuse: C'est complicated (2014).
