James Righton

James Wrighton is the creator and vocalist of the 2005 British indie rock band Klaxons. In 2014, the members of the musical group announced their disbandment, played their last concerts in support of the new album and officially ceased to exist. After that, the singer took the pseudonym Shock Machine and began a solo career.

James Ryton was born on August 25, 1983 in Stratford-upon-Avon. It was here that the eminent playwright William Shakespeare was born.

It was from under their "wing" that the legendary "The Beatles" came out in due time. As soon as they signed a contract with the company, the musicians plunged into a busy concert schedule, releasing a new track - "Atlantis To Interzone"

"Myths of the Near Future" - the debut album of "Klaxons", consisting entirely of hits, was released in early 2007. Then critics unanimously recognized the disc as the best release of the year and gave the team first place in the "Discovery of the Year" nomination.

Six months later (July 2007), the Klaxons announced that they had started working on the second album, which fans had been waiting for for three years. During this time, the band occasionally performed fresh compositions at various gigs - "Valley of the Calm Trees", "Moonhead", "Imaginary Pleasures" and "In Silver Forest".

The reason for the delay was the need to rewrite some of the material accumulated by March 2009 anew. As it turned out later, when the disc was almost ready, the label returned it to the musicians for revision, saying that it was "too harsh and rough." As a result, the discography of "Klaxons" was replenished with the wild "Surfing The Void" in August 2010.

The third album "Love Frequency" was released in June 2014 and shocked the group's thinning fan base by that time. This work was not like the previous Klaxons albums.

Indie rock turned into indie pop, and punk funk was completely forgotten. The third release became the lightest and most electronic - it was based on uncomplicated tunes with rhythmic beats and clean sweetish vocals of James. After the failure, the band announced their disbandment, played their last concerts, and Ryton took up a solo project "Shock Machine".

Journalists began to closely monitor the personal life of the musician of the British rock group after rumors emerged that the charming vocalist was dating actress Keira Knightley.

Young people met at a party in 2011. Later, the artist admitted that at that moment she had not even heard of the group "Klaxons" and, moreover, had no idea who James was. This circumstance did not prevent the charming keyboardist from achieving Knightley.

It is known that Kira and James hid the sex of the child from journalists for a couple of months, but in the end, the nosy paparazzi managed to capture Knightley and Ryton with their baby. In August 2017, the ex-Klaxons frontman presented the debut album of his new project called Shock Machine. The disc, which contains 10 tracks, was to the taste of both listeners and critics. Videos were filmed for the songs "Unlimited Love", "Open Up The Sky", "Lost in the Mystery" and "Let Her Love In".
