Biography
His real name Jacob Abel, the young American - a supermodel in his spare time - was 18 when he appeared for the first time on television, in a TV movie broadcast on Disney Channel (Free Figure) in 2005.
Over the years following, after three appearances in the aborted series Threshold: first contact, he takes over the small screen and goes on as "guest" in Zack and Cody (2006), Cold Case (id.), Experts Miami (2007) and Manhattan ( 2009), then Urgences (id.). Finally, there are two demon-hunter half-brothers in Supernatural (2009-10) before landing at Grey's Anatomy Hospital (2011).
On the cinema side, he is discreet in Strange Wilderness by Fred Wolf (2008) before landing the lead role in Tru Loved, an independent film by Stewart Wade unseen in France. His role in the biopic A flash of genius, released in 2009, allowed him to stand out in the world of independent US cinema, especially at the Hamptons Festival. He then took on the costume of Luke Castellan, son of Hermes, for the blockbuster Percy Jackson the thief of lightning (2010).
In Lovely Bones (2010), he rubbed shoulders with Saoirse Ronan, a rising star he found in 2013 for Les Âmes Vagabondes, an ambitious adaptation of a literary phenomenon by Andrew Niccol. In the meantime, he tyrannizes Alex Pettyfer and Callan McAuliffe in Number Four (2011), showing how much the actor favors the fantastic and SF genres.
