Jairzinho Rosenstruik was born on March 17, 1988 in Paramaribo, Suriname. The parents named their son after the Brazilian footballer Jair Ventura Filho, known as Jairzinho.

Although he did not manage to reach the same heights as the famous Brazilian, the young man received valuable experience and understood what his vocation was. At the age of 17, the athlete had to leave the field due to a fight with an opponent. The coach advised Rosenstruyk to channel his energy into a more peaceful channel and try his luck in martial arts. So he ended up in the kickboxing hall.
